this customer who always comes into my work and hires science fiction videos all the time reckons that tiny little cameras have been planted in digital televisions, and they record everything and send it up to a satellite to keep an eye on terrorist activity and also for marketing purposes, and so that the governemnt and media knows eveything about u! kinda scary if its true. apparently by 2008 manual television will be almost obsolete. what do u reckon about this little story? has anyone heard anything similar? or know if its true?

  2. you mean analog right? manual t.v. would be sorta pointless

This seems highly unlikely considering the price of such cameras, the fact that digital televisions are made in Taiwan and not the US, the fact that the processing of such videos would require a lot of manpower and money, and the fact that they can learn just as much from audio monitoring.
