Well, oldest son would shop there exclusively if allowed, but I don't think he's black or, yugoslavian, or listens to Snoop, but I could be wrong about at least one of them. HaHaHaHAHAHAHAHAHHA. He bought these pants there that were huge (looked like a big long dress when he stood with his legs together) with these skeleton bones on them that I thought looked like dog bones. I had to stifle a laugh every time I saw him in them. Not good to laugh at your kids, but really!?!?! [IMG] Thank goodness, he outgrew them fast.

not everyone! if you think about it, their prices really aren't that much different than mervyn's or jc penney, places like that. I usually get stuff on sale though, loaded up on tank tops and thongs :D

You compare the sales at Mervyn's to the sales at American Eagle? That's like...fiddy cints compared to tree fiddy.

    That was me being black.

I load up on thongs from Charlotte Russe...5 for $15 baby. Now that's what I call a STEAL.

Here in my town, all the young punks and antarchists and other anti-establishment types all go to the mall and buy their expressive garmets at HOT TOPIC. Then then parade around in the mall in their new digs in attempts to shock the prodominant conservative christian types.

Even in July here in Florida, they'll wear long black leather coats or wool caps, willing to suffer the heat in order to make a statement- "hey, I'm not gonna conform! I'm my own person!"
And they have HOT TOPIC and it's parent company, THE GAP, to thank for providing their form of protest.

    and Abercrombie and Fitch...

haha... people are ignorant... if they really want to make a statement, they could make their own :p but I guess it's easier to swipe daddy's visa or something.

i dont like to stereotype a hippie..but if your a hippie whos against the establishment and then go out and buy abercrombie or amercan eagle thats hypicritical...these cloths are made in sweat shops overseas and by buying there cloths your funding corporate america and there for help support there opressive ways..thats the only reason why i dont get how you can be a hippie and still buy all your cloths in those places...to each is own i guess..Peace

Yeah, I have a big group of kids like that at my high school... however, some of them do make their own clothes (with their mothers' help, I'm sure).
