I don't think Ben is what you can call a Hippy, yeah he is a very free minded person but when the matter comes down to it he is a musician that is getting down to the roots of his music, I think he is an amazing musician exploring all that was laid out for him in the begginin. To be a great musician sometimes you need to stop and get down to the roots of the music.
its on its way. a little slower than ben cus im fairly poor. i had to teach my self music, then teach myself how to fix all theses old guitars and mandolins, now im teaching myself how to build electronics. i have plenty of songs for it though, just got to get to the pluggin in point.

i gave jack johnson a hug a few weeks ago and about the hippy thing. no, i dont think hes a hippy. being a hippy isnt about playing some weird instrument that not many people are familiar with, or tatooing your back in confusing designs, or singing about peace and love and all that crap. its more to do with your demeanor. you gotta know someone personally to know if their a hippy despite this, id love to see the guy live
