I was asked the other day in a class what I would say to the president if I met him face to face and I only had one minute. My first response was bring some soap on a rope, and bubba likes it slow and deep. I was asked to be 'nice'. My next was would you want a man coming to build you a house who's own house is falling down? What would you say to the pres if you only had one minute, and you don't have to be 'nice'.
I would ask him if he would ever hold a forum with the other nations of europe and the rest of the world that are currently within iraq.. and answer the fundemental questions that keep re ocurring over and over again,as human beings not presidents and prime ministers as people.. now i realise this is a fantasy so i would say that prety fast and ask him if he had half hour in his schedule to listen to my thoughts and what i think..if at the end he could give a % of if i was right or wrong on what i thought about him and his actions and how he relates to the rest of the world of the worlds leaders .. that would be cool.
I don't think it would do any good to try to talk any sense to him nor would I wish to be in his presence for any extended period, so I would simply inform him that I feel he is a despicable human and I hate him.
I've often dreamed of getting an opportunity to talk to him, although I honestly doubht I'd get anything out anyway since I'm so shy in the first place, and not very articulate about my thoughts on his presidency, the war, etc either. I would need some time to write out all my thoughts, some notecards...and probably more than a minute so that I could stutter through what I wanted to say to him. But then...I pretty much think what green_thumb said is true...he wouldn't be listening to me anyway and I also think I wouldn't be very comfortable in his presence for long...so maybe just a big fuck you...bring my hubby home.
