Lookin for people in western MI. To hang out with and maybe start a gathering of our own.

I'm from S.E. Michigan, but lived out in Western Michigan for awhile.

There used to be a place south of Kalamazoo (Vandalia) called Rainbow Farms that used to host all kinds of boss gatherings. I remember attending a few as a kid. Dude who owned it got shot by a group of cops because they suspected he was a drug dealer. Come to find out he had less than an ounce of weed in his possession. As far as I know, there hasn't been a gathering out there since. Northern MIchigan has a few gatherings a year. Check out the Great Lakes Rainbow Network. There are some righteous cats in there.

 

Im from Grand Rapids bro, Holland yeah a gathering would be great maybe somewhere like Manistee national forrest look me up there is a growing number of hippies emerging out of the wood work in Grand Rapids -- Tuesday nights at the Radio Tavern we have a gathering of sorts where the hippies dance the night away to Jam band night you should come out tommorow dude Grand Rapids is only about a half hour or so from Holland-- very kynd and excepting hippies at this place

dude!! u live in holland!?!? my grandma lives in holton up by muskegon. i go up there all the time!

 

this is probly a really old string, but for anyone who checks it out, and wants to be around a good crowd in west michigan sometime during the week. since the radio has burned to the ground, feeling the wrath of god for housing so many heathens, us wiley kids have moved to the intersection on tuesdays, its still the same crowd, but the bar kinda sucks. thursdays are a good time at founders, its open mic and ladies night. and hopefully we'll have a place and night for a gathering in a decent bar here in GR again soon.

 

I live in Wyandotte mi and go to school in d town anyboby hang out around these parts.

 

Hey man, im from western michigan, New Era to be exact, its about an hour north of holland. Im in a band called Facing Pyxus, and we are playing Muskegon Summer Celebration next friday June 30th. If you are around the area, you should come, we play alot of orginals and covers. We have been called a mix between dave mathews, zep, and phish. we play at 2 p.m. at the regional stage if ya want to check it out
