My wife's first husband's name was Bryon. Everyone wanted to spell it Brian of course, so he always had to spell it out for them. When my stepdaughters had their first kids, they both wanted to name theirs after their father's. My oldest daughter had a girl, so her name is Briana. Thank the stars she didn't opt for Bryona, or the poor girl wouldn't have a chance. The youngest had a boy, so he's got the same problem - My name is Bryon, B -r -y -o - n. But the one that topped me, my name is Marty, short for Martin. I went to work for a guy in Florida, he also went by Marty, but his name was Marvin. Now that's just not right, Marv, yea, but not Marty. Needless to say it caused a lot of confusion, but when I got another job down there, with a company of about 30 employees, there was another guy named Marty, and he was the head of machine shop. Every time there was a problem with a press or die we both had to go running, cause the girl on the intercom was Vietnamese and always forgot to call the last name. I finally gave up and came back to Ohio. I only know one Martin around here, and he goes by Martin or Roadhog (CB handle). If there's any Marvins around here, they go by Bubba or Shorty or Buck or something
well...i'm planning on naming one of my future kids Kalifornia Rainbow after my initials. So the kid won't be made fun of their nick name will be Kal if the child is a boy or Kallie or the chidl is a girl. Audrey Hunt is not my real name. Audrey is taken from Audrey Hepburn b/c she's proper,elegant,unique, intelligent, ladylike,nice,etc.... Hunt is taken like a hunter which is wild,fierce,dark,mysterious,not gonig 2 bend off of other ppl's rules. Basically, this name is a name of my personality. I use it as a stage name b/c i'm a belyl dancer and i also use it for my writings on the net. That's how it started, i have some nasty stories on the net,lol.
