tattoo help please post

take all the time you need to decide.


a tattoo is like a marriage to an image. people get married just knowing that this is it; this is for life! and when they find themselves a few years in, they realize it isn't what was imagined at all.

people change. you will too. you may want to wait a few more years. call me crazy, but remember my words.

Yeah I hate that, people just getting tattoes off the wall, or anywhere for that matter. It's like, what the hell were you thinking. I'm getting inked when I'm 18(probably sooner)and every tattoo I get will be by me. All of them. I'm gonna sit down, draw something and get it done. I would never put any of that tribal art or that fake hieroglyphs shit on my. Or chinese lettering, that drives me nuts! Every college kid in north america has one of those damn things, "love", "brave", "honor". They don't even know what they really mean! I remember there was this asian tattoo artist who got so pissed off from people like this, he would write things in chinese and japanese like, "whore" or "slut" or "small penis" and tell them it meant something else. We need more guys like him.

 

my little brother just got 2 identical tattoos on his shoulder blades.. they are of a scary looking clown..he got it from some book... and he wants to put in some words like " gangster " or something along those lines between his clowns.. i've told him before he got any tattoo .. to think about it carefully... he's 15... and he got the clowns... so now i'm telling him again... to not get the text done... he's going to regret it when his beliefs change....

dont get a tattoo of something that you dont believe in.. that isnt "YOU"... i dont have a tattoo and will not get one unless it is designed by me and done by an artist whom i trust....

 

Oh absolutely. When I get mine done I'm going to have designed it myself, and searched for an artist who I really trust to ink it on me. I have one in mind but have yet to pin(pen ) it down exactly how I want it to look. But once I've got it perfect I'll get it done. My idea has a lot of meaning behind it for me too.
