With Summer slowly creeping our way, I thought it would be nice to remind everyone about Nelson Ledges Quarry Park in Northeast Ohio. I went last year, to the Gratefulfest, fantastic show, great atmosphere, vending, swimming at the beach, camping, and for families with kiddos, plenty of "more quiet" not so crazy, pretty mellow zone, for us it was close enough to the stage to hear the tunes and even duck >>>>>thattaway towards the stage for a little gittin down For those w/o chillins', PLENTY of room for adult fun and partying.... plenty of kind family and relatively inexpensive for what ya get Hope to see some of y'all there check out the site www.nlqp.com little word of warning tho, the ledges are dangerous and I believe last summer, a brother that was there during the juggalo fest had a fatal fall off a ledge sooo, be careful! still lovin' Jen
we were also at gratefulfest last year....was a little bummed they moved it to August (can't go then)....still figuring out our summer festival schedule.. we ay be there over the 4th of july. it is a beautiful place; trees, beach, music, food, kynd people....what more do you want?
i must be a 15 year veteran of that place. most beautiful place to see a show, best camping ever. i really never cared for the regular visitors who go or the security and staff, but you can always find some cool chill kids to kick it with. im still holding out hope that im gonna make it up to ohio this year.
So, Stranger, I noticed on your post about Ripplefest, you mentioned the Kidzjam....Is that group going to be doing the festies again this year? I would like to see y'all at Nelson Ledges and anywhere else. I would be willing to help out too, with art supplies, creativity, or helping hands let me know peace
Kidzjam's an awesome organization and I've seen them quite often at Ekoostik Hookah events. Anywho, here's a link that should get you started with all the info you need...Got it off the Hookahlist at dubba.com. http://www.kidzjam.org/ Peace
Wish I was out in Ohio at the end of April for Hookah there, but I no longer live very close to there. I moved back home to Vermont, but sure do miss seeing hookah when I lived in Ohio and the tri-corner region of PA, WV and MD Wish they'd come play up here more often
