is it just me? i went shopping with my soul-friend (old inside name for eachother) and we were lookin at maternity clothes, i found tons of way cool kurta lookin shirts and stuff? way cheeper then at any "hippy* store ive been to lately, just a cut here an there, and u have a cool kurta instead of a maternity shirt...im not insane right?
nope youre not, I saw one that I thought was the shit, the only problem is that it's made to fit a big belly. so they have a tendancy to poke out, but you could easily fix that no problem. If thats the case, just think about how cute you'll look when you actually are pregnant.
I 've often thought some "hippie" clothes made people look pregnant...could be a personal dislike for empire waists... so the open-flow, esp with light-weight fabrics makes sense. WhenI lived in Norman, I had great luck at the sally alley. where in Okie land are you?
My girlfriend's clothing collection could allmost entirely convert to maternity clothing easily. So many of her shirts and dresses do that thing where they fit up on her torso and get baggy down from there to accomodate a large belly were there to be one there
woo! im not insane, i just might have to go buy some of those shirts i saw then...oh btw my first tiedye came out great! im wearing them now, i look way sehhhxeh!
I left after graduation. but my sweetie got his start vending at Jacob Fred Jazz odessy shows and Eric Sarmiento, when he was hippie-esque. www.tiedyepaul.com
