1st thought is this is the worst place to post this, but..
Anyone know about Alt living for 1 or 2 people?

A large group in the woods might attract attention, but 1 or 2 setting up camp deep into public land might go unnoticed/rent free for years.

The deep woods, desert, other?, or even city thoughts are of interest.

Knew a guy who lived in an old factory for a couple of years. He had water (don't know why they didn't shut it off) Burned wood in a drum for heat.
It was set up really nice, he lived in one of the old office spaces.

The had a normal job, banked his $, landed on his feet when they tore the place down.

Seems to me that most of us who think of doing communal living must at one time or another go off and do it by ourselves as well to see how it can be done. They say practice makes perfect - good thing because there appears to be that time heading toward us when we won't be practicin no more.

    Hi Oldwolf,

You said it better. People trying things on their own.

There must be suitable alternatives to the rat race... Thinkers today and yesterday have been pondering the issue.
