Quick question, I have been meditating for a lil while now and have never had any problem getting into that good meditated zone. However, lately I have had difficulty staying comfortably still while meditating. My eyes get sore and I wana jump up and just move! lol. A bud told me that perhaps it is because I have built up too much Ki energy in me and now I must release some? Make any sense to anyone and if so how might I release this? Even better would be using it to some end rather than just releasing it...maybe healing or something? How would I do this? Also, I dont understand the whole having to much. I thought energy was a good thing to have. I also thought it is what causes the 3rd eye awakening or the kundalini experience...why would I want to get rid of it? Can someone please explain this to me? jeff
Man i think it might be because you arent focusing enough, or maybe too much. I dont think it has anything to do with an overdose of energy if you know what i mean, try doing something different with your meditation, see if it haves a difference.

Positive, I am positive it isnt in "how" I am meditating. Meditating has always come quite easy and natural to me. And I havent changed anything. From what I have been reading on the internet, I would say it is definitely an unbalance of energy in my lower chakras. In other words I am loaded up and need to move this energy somewhere. What I wonder is how and where etc. Siince I am new to all this I am not sure how to proceed? Jeff
You're right that one can't have too much energy - it is altogether a positive thing. Howver, having energy and being able to channel it are different things. Also, you could be right about energy accumulating in lower centres. I'd say that it would be good to look at how this energy is expressing itself in activities other than meditation, esp. on the sexual level. Often, there can be 'knots' or 'blocks' which prevent the free flow of energy to the higher centres. Perhaps that's partly what you are experiencing - and perhaps it's not - those are just a few thoughts.
Another thing it could be is that you are spending too much time in your head. When you meditate is it a full body thing or just a mental thing? Sometimes when I'm in a meditation and have too much on my mind it will hurt behind my eyes. I guess it could be different for everyone though.
