Anybody else think Peter Jackson's directorial talents were wasted when he made Lord of the Rings....I did like the Lord of the Rings films, but I think his 2 previous films Bad Taste and Braindead were far more amusing, if not a little disturbing! You'd hardly think they were made by the same guy!
yeah i shocked me to fuck to learn that peter jackson was gonna direct lord of the rings.. i htought it was gonna be all explosions and latex.. which to be faor would have been much more amusing... how the hell he managed to get the budget for lotr when his portfolio consisted of the 3 aforementioned is beyond me. (didn't relise he directed meet the feebles. thats a quality film)
it makes you realise how good a job he actually did turning the book into a film. sure he missed out the best ending of a book EVER!!!!!! EVER I TELL YOU !!!"! ASRAHJSFDIASFHI but yeah it was pretty good considering...
Braindead is an amazing film, the crazy old uncle that pulls out people's teeth lives near me and is a legend.
.. and The Frightners! and Heavenly Creatures! Peter Jackson has made a hell of a lot. I don't agree with his directorial talents were wasted. I think it's great that he has shown he can do it! I also think it is great that on the covers to BadTaste and BrainDead that he isn't mentioned as the direcor of Lord of THe Rings. I'm interested to see what he will do with King Kong... and then I heard he is going back to his roots (BrainDead and BadTaste) ... he is grand! Love BadTaste and BainDead though! (as well as Lord of the Rings)
