Read this and tell what you would do after winning large amounts of Lotto money?

 

Depends on how much I won...
I'd save most of it, and then just use a good chunk on whatever the hell I want.

 

I'd maybe take a trip around the world, but other than that I don't think I'd really spend much on consumer goods. I'd probably give some of it to charity, and invest the rest so I (hopefully) wouldn't have to work fulltime at a 9-to-5 job ever again.

Although my chances of winning the lottery are somewhat diminished by the fact that I don't play.

 

People are just stupid with their money, that's why there are sob stories. I mean, personally I'd buy a huge chunk of land and pay cash so that it's done with. I'd install solar power and set up an organic garden large enough to feed me year round. With the rest of the money I'd buy a gook bike, some good working clothes and the rest would go into savings.


Even if you just put it in the savings account, think about how much interest you could earn just from letting 8 million dollars sit there.

 

How would any of you deal with family,friends and strangers constantly hounding you for money? That seemed to be one of the biggest problems lotto winners have to deal with. Would you have people pay you back if you loan them a certain amount of money? I mean,if you don't replace the money you've loaned people then eventually you'll be broke.

I wasn't sure what forum to put it in. I didn't see a "financial forum". I decided on the political forum since we had to vote(which is political) on the lottery in my state. If you want, you can move it to the random thoughts forum,no problem.

 

In most cases, I'd just tell them no. I might make an exception if there was a family member who needed it for something legitimate, such as a college education or medical bills. But I would definitely NOT be paying out money to family members just so that they could buy more consumer goods.

 

If I won the lottery I would invest the money & live off the interest. Those people who ended up bankrupt were just plain S T U P I D. One huge change I would make though is moving somewhere else besides this hellhole! My life would not change much at all.

 

I'm sorry, but you have to be an idiot to waste money on the lottery in the first place.

I'd pee on food in front of starving people, because with that much money I could afford to be a total prick.

 

Then you could pay them to eat it.

 

I wouldn't claim it saving the World the energies of separating me and my unearned Gain.
