Israel has only once dependend on outside help defending its interests or borders. The lone exception is the Gulf War despite being hit several times by Iraqi Scud missiles resulting in scores of civilians deaths. This was a failed attempt by Hussien to draw Isreal into the conflict in order draw away Arab support for the Coalition.

If Israel attacks the nuke plants in Iran, how will this complicate things, politically in Iraq. Will this drive erstwhile neutral parties into the Iranian camp in Baghdad?
I'm thinking it would. The overflights would have to take place over large areas of Iraqi airspace. Driving a wedge between the new Iraqi Government and the current coalition.
Even if the attack is successful, Iran would still come out on top, morally, in the minds of the Arab world.
The belief is Israel does the bidding of the U.S., this attack would only cement such beliefs.

If Israel attacks Iranian nuclear plants it is in Israel's best interest. Israel is alot like Curly in Of Mice and Men. It can fight a big guy and if it loses the eyes of the world support Israel , but if it wins it is veiwed as a hero.

Alot of the world thinks Israel is a bunch of oppressors though....

Anywhos, Israel is now developing alot of submarine technology and investing heavily in them. Russia has recently sold them subs that are nuclear capable.
I don't think they're gonna take the overhead route this time, or really take credit for the attack.
