Kraftwerk - German techno pioneers. A band I always liked, and used to listen to when they were quite un-fashionable back in the 70's. They are considered hugely influential on a lot of subsequent electronic and techno musik. What I don't know is if they ever became well known in the USA. Kraftwerk is great. Without these guys there wouldnt be nearly as many electronic groups out there as there are today. Look on the inside of some of your favorite electronic artists and you just might see some props go to kraftwerk. The older kraftwerk, ever since autobahn in my opinion, is the best. They have come back and regrouped, and even toured but they just arent the same as they used to be. In my opinion they they lost their touch. they were pioneers for the music of today, not the music of today!
