Its somehow a bit strange. I dont know, honestly. I think it could damage relationships, I do not see it as being positive at all.
yea,....me either. i think i wouldn't do it. however, i know a drummer who lets his kid smoke and their relatinship is great and all, but.....still,.no!
Well, I grew up in an alcoholic and drug-addicted family... So, in my case, it would be highly irresponsible for a parent to encourage their children's drug use, knowing that to do so would be to lead them down a bad path. In families where there is no dependency like that, then I suppose it wouldn't be so bad. As long as what you are doing is not detrimental to the health, well-being, and growth of the child...
We've ALL experimented. Don't deny it. It comes with "Growing-Up"! I'd rather smoke up my kids, and Educate them than have to identify the body. Wouldn't you agree?
Yah, my mom felt it was better that I do my drugs and drinking at home, rather than out in the world... The funny thing was, that didn't stop me. I still went out in the world and did it. And came pretty darn close to being in the morgue, on more than one occasion. The Universe obviously saw fit for me to continue living and pulled me through. So no, I don't agree. In my family, who are all addicts and alcoholics, we must teach our children that drinking and drugging leads to bad places. Because chances are, it will.
