My mom was telling me she watched a special on how chapman's actually uses antifreeze, like the kind in your damn car, in their ice cream. I'm too lazy to look for anything online, but sick.

I also found that Propyl Gallate, a chemical preservative and flavour enhancer-which is ALSO the sweet-tasting chemical found in antifreeze and brake fluid solvents is in some DOG FOOD and is linked to kidney damage. :(

What you have to understand is that even chemicals like brake fluid, acetone, anti-freeze, etc...can all be combined into neutral substances; pretty much everything you eat these days is produced with some sort of industrial solvent or neurotoxin...unless you grow it yourself, but then it still contains Polonium, which breaks down into lead (and something else) inside your body...

oh, that's the biggest load of bullshit i have ever heard in my life.

lots of people grow buy and eat natural and organic food. nowadays organics and "natural" foods has become a huge industry. wegman's even has natural food marts within their supermarkets. if you say "everything" has chemicals in it or that you can't find natural food unless you grow it yourself, then you must be making a really big effort not to try.

now come the excuses: costs too much, too much trouble, no time, doesn't matter, we're all going to die anyway. fine. you keep telling yourself that. we really don't care if you want to poison your body for convenience so badly. go right ahead; it's your right and priveledge.

but for those of us who do care:

    i lo-o-o-ove my co-op! find a natural food co-op near you.

you don't have to grow it yourself. find a farmers' market near you. just remember that if local, pesticide-free or organic is important to you, it's vital to talk to the vendor. often you can find organic unsprayed or even hydroponic produce at competitive prices, but you usually need to ask. talk to them anyway. they're nice people.

even better than farm markets: community supported agriculture! to find csa near you, you can try here, but i've been having trouble getting the page.

You're missing my point altogether; what I'm trying to get across here is that even organic compounds can be deadly, and that just because something has been processed using various synthetic compounds that are harmful alone that the end product isn't necessarily even going to be mildly toxic.

I never said it was impossible to find organic food, what I said was that ALL plants contain Polonium, which is a radioactive isotope found in the soil...so unless you're buying hydroponic tomatoes I don't see anyway around this.
