I know of a good book thats really user friendly and is perfect for the amateur grower..its called sea of green by todd mccormick...buy it on ebay used for a few bucks..
Another good book is called Indoor Marijuana Horticulture by Ed Rosenthal. He also does a column in one of the grow mags, but I can't remember which one.
Indoor marijuana cultivation by Ed Rosenthal has alot of controversial info in it to a seasoned grower!
OverGrow is a really good choice to start off. Better than any book because you can ask questions in the forums there. I like Marijuana Botany by Robert Connell Clarke.
