genre's confuse me

the thing is i dont listen to the newer stuff...i dont like the new stuff at all. i get what you mean its just i cant see any relations between sabbath song "Fluff" and the new stuff. it cant have evolved that much

 

Listen to old blink 182 then listen to there new stuff...

I think I'd have to go with Motorhead as the original metal band, those double bass drums really define Heavy Metal.

If you have solid evidence that Black Sabbath was the orginal metal band please share it with us. Because then and only then will it be a fact, but right now all your doing is expressing your opinion. I accept that you think that Black Sabbath is the original metal band, but I dont understand why you can't accept that my opinion is just my opinion. I'm not trying to prove you wrong, I'm just simply stating that with the double bass drums that motorhead used is the a defining characterstic of metal music. Because after motorhead all other "metal" bands started to use double bass drums and that is a Fact.

 

Just for your clarification, an incorrect fact, is an oxymoron. And, Opinion is defined in the dictionary as: A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof. So, I've expressed my opinion in the subject we're discussing, and you've expressed yours, so like I said before we should agree to disagree. I'm done posting in this forum, say what you want about me, I won't reply, just know that you need to be a little more open minded when it comes to peoples opinions. Because in your life you'll deal with many different views and going around telling people they are wrong just wont get you anywhere far.
