And considering all 4 of my parents pay taxes meaning in effect they are paying for my right to be a student and have their whole lifes i think i have a right to learn.

umm genetically i have 2 parents indeed you are correct, however in a modern day society many people regard their foster, step, and adopted parents as being parents.

If a child was adopted at an incredibly young age and brought up in a family and supported by them... are they not its family now?? .... and if you think not i advise you to find someone who has been in this situation and ask them.
