I know one murderer. He murdered a good friend of mine on my birthday in 2000...He was 14 and my friend was 16. They were step-brothers.

My friend had taken away the boy's knife. He was going around stabbing this little girl with it, knicking her and giggling when she started to bleed. So my friend took the knife from him, hid it, and then hit him.

There was another confrontation over some Pokemon cards that the boy had stolen from 7-11....Well, finally the boy started talking about how he was going to kill my friend...he went into his friend's room (they were at someone else's house), found his huge knife, hunting knife or something like that, walked up behind my friend and stabbed him before he had a chance to react. He stabbed him a few more times, and then walked away laughing. He didn't leave the house though. He stayed, laughing, even after the cops showed up.

My friend was laying on the sidewalk bleeding to death, stabbed in his kidneys, his stomach, and his heart. One of my other friends held him as he died. When I found out, I was devastated. So were quite a few other people.

The boy was put in adult-level facilities and sentenced to life. He was psychologically evaluated and everything. He was sane. He just didn't care. :(

My uncle was a murderer, he's still in the pen. My brother actually rode in the car with him when the body was in the trunk!

The only murderer(with the side crime of rape) I personally know is a guy that lived acrossed the street from the house I grew up in.

He committed the crime in 1975, being neighbors, my family & his were good friends and him & his siblings used to babysit my sister & I. My sister was born in 1969 & me in 1970, and the babysitting went on anywhere from when we were 4 to 8 or 9...

This guy didn''t get busted until 1979, so between 1975 when he committed the crime... & 1979 when he got popped, I was still getting babysat by a murderer/rapist.

After he was caught he spent about 18-22 years in Rahway State Prison for his shit.

I wish I had links to the info...and the only place I could think of was here:

    www.njherald.com

but they have no search & google search by domain doesn't help.

    The guy was evil.

If you're at the supermarket with a cart full of 65 items, and there's a person behind you holding four items in his hands, and you don't turn around and let him go ahead of you even if he does not even ask, you never know if your failure to do an unsolicited kindness and let him go first at the register might be the final event that makes him go be a serial killer.

Shit happens in life. People are supposed to just fuckin' deal with it, and not let it "turn" them into serial killers. We can't all go about our days "careful to not turn someone into a serial killer," because there's no set identifiable thing or things that make it happen. Teasing? Big shit. I was teased. I did some teasing. I didn't turn into a serial killer for being teased, nor did the people I teased. Why? Because we were well adjusted. Turning into a serial killer because you were teased is abnormal. (Well, duh.) What I mean is, it is not fair to say someone should have expected their teasing to result in the teasee going out and murdering people.

Your Dave did not turn someone into a serial killer. The killer guy was already fucked up. What kind of a fucked-up trip is that to lay on Dave, anyway? Real nice.

I don't, myself, know anyone who's a murderer. I don't think I even know anyone who has killed someone -- at least, not anyone I know well.

This has to be the most fucked-up, disturbing thread I've ever seen in any kind of forum. The fact that SO many of you know murderers -- and not just murderers, but really sick and depraved ones -- isn't that the kind of shit that we should all look at each other and go, "...Nope. I don't know any murderers. ...Do you?"

But instead it's like every other person on this forum knows some shitbag who's murdered someone -- over pot, money, or some other bullshit.

What the fuck is the world coming to?

I had to take the stand during a murder trial about ten years ago. This guy killed his girlfriend and as a last ditch effort to avoid jail, blamed it on a friend of mine whom this guy's girlfriend had cheated on him with. The only time my friend left the house that night was with me to go over to another friends house, so I had to take the stand in court to answer the prosecuters questions. One of the freakier moments in my life to be 20 years old and looking across the court room at a guy who was about to be sentenced to life in prison for murder.

It would be interesting to do a psychological study on these killers.

Anything that involves psychological studies is interesting to me. I just have to laugh at those who make comments that both nature and nurture have no direct influence on how a child grows. They are obviously uneducated when it comes to the field and it's findings.

I guess I should just be happy that I come from a family that never did anything so fucked up.

Murder is the sickest thing you could do to someone. The wrongest thing. Why does it seem so fucking common?! How on earth could it possibly be that so many of you know murderers?

I think you mean "most wrong" ;)

So if we know these people, do you automatically think they are our friends or something? And furthermore, if it was a family member, what does that have to do with anything? You can't choose your family.

The two men that I know were not my friends, one was a school bully and one was a co-worker. You seem to be blaming us for knowing these people.

I was just curious to know how many others had crossed paths with this kind of filth.
