don't take any offense to this question, there are no hidden meanings etc... i am a white christian girl, would it be offensive to muslim women for me to wear a hijab(sp) as a fashion item? i just think they are soo beautiful. but i don't want to get my butt kicked at the same time.
Well I was always fascinated with Islam, studied it, and I don't exactly know if it would be offensive or not. I always found them really beautiful, too. Personally, I think you'd probably get a better answer at a Muslim board, they'd have more knowledge, probably. There were some times after 9/11 several women did that, though.
hey girl...i'll ask my ex...he's pakistani and muslim so he could give a good answer..i'm thinking it might be offensive but then again maybe nice since you're covering your head....oh well if you still haven't found out i'll ask....hugs
