How To Get To Heaven When You Die

This is how I feel.

I'm 97% percent sure I'm going to Heaven.

These are why I think that way:

I try to be an Honest person.

I try to be trust worthy.

I have confessed most of my sins (maybe not all but most) in one way or another.

I have tried to ask forgiveness to those I have wronged.

I feel I am a good person. I am fair to others. I have tried to help others.

I am not perfect. My life is my journey. I am learning.

I believe Jesus died for my sins.

Whether someone has done the things I have or not it is not for me to judge.

Those are good things to do. The problem is that God, the one who will judge weather we will go to heaven or not, said that we have to accept what His Son Jesus did on the cross to get us to heaven. If your putting your trust in anything else, the bible says that you won't get there. Stop relying on yourself and rely on Jesus to save you. Pray that prayer at the end of this post and receive Him as your Savior.

 

I already did receive Him as my Savior. My trust is right where it is supposed to be.

Matthew, Mark, Luke and John might have been on magic mushrooms when they wrote the bible, which is the equivalent of going to outerspace 3,000 years ago.
There were more advanced civilisations in existence around and before that period like the Chinese and the ancient Egyptians (I saw it on the Discovery Channel ). They all worshipped different gods. Are you saying that your god is real and the other hundred or so gods created by others are fake? What about Hinduism, Buddhism, Moslem and Rastafarism to name a few? If the world blew up today will only the Christians go to heaven?

and i find it funny how some of you are calling your beleifs "sprituality", and not a religion. Tis Just like what Ive heard from many christians: "I dont beleive in religion, I beleive in the truth".

i once asked a christian what you had to do to to get to heaven prior to Jesus, the answer they gave was to sacrifice another person...

I'm going to the first layer of hell because I don't believe in Jesus being the son of God. But it's ok, though, because it'll be a lot more fun down there. There are no fun people in heaven, only Christians. Hell's where the party's at.

I blame 1/2 of myself for killing Jesus, because I'm half jewish of course (the good half)

My grandma is Jewish and my Grandpa may have been but, every man born crucified Jesus, because He died for their sins. Jesus Christ and His disciples were Jewish also.

It doesn't matter if your Jewish or not, if you are in Christ you are all the same:

Ga 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

This is what I don't get. Maybe you can clear this up for me because I'm confused. You talk about Jesus dying for our sins.

Many brave fire fighters, police officers, soldiers and various other service men and civilians have died because of the sins and irresponsibile actions of anothers.

Is Jesus more important than those men and women? Please answer without quoting the good book, thats a cop out imo.
