ok, so, i've realized i can't live like a high school kid anymore. i just don't make enough money to spend so much on pot. so maybe i'll start drinking, it's a bit cheaper considering the fact that if i put my heart and soul in it i could EASILY smoke $25 worth of pot in one sitting....

i've heard theres some rum called mr boston or something that you can get almost a gallon of for 10 bucks. anyone know of shit like this? might not be so bad if i can at least mix it with juice or coke or something. its not pot, not as enjoyable, and i can't drink all day like i love to smoke all day, but it would make life without much marijuana a hell of a lot more pleasant even if i just could get something to drink every other night for a while or something.

well, nesta I know you are smart in your drug choices, but heavey booze drinking is really bad, but yes there are many cheap hard alchols arround. I still think bum wine like T-bird or night train or mad dog is probibally the cheapest drunk arround, but that shit is real hard to drink on a regular basis.

Where I live it's $6.50 for a twelve pack and it's really not bad for a cheap beer.

Stay away from cheap liquor and bumwines(Night Train, Thunderbird, Cisco, MD 20/20 etcetera) though, that stuff tastes like shit and it will destroy you.

carsick, round this area the only ciders you can get are pretty decent, its almost amusing to think of it as a cheap means of boozehounds getting drunk :p

actually, i was thinking last night, and i pretty much decided not to drink a lot like i was considering....i don't usually get sad when i'm drunk, but i don't drink that often and i'm always in a good mood when i choose to drink, so....considering the fact that i've been pretty down a lot lately, i'm afraid i may have potential to become one of those people that starts to get sad whenever they drink....that would be no good....plus my lungs are bad enough as it is, i don't need to go killing my liver, too. though i still may get some cheap liquor sometime soon so i can have just two or three drinks every few nights if i really need to unwind and can't afford nugs....it would be useful to have on hand

bsabbath, 5 bucks is a pretty expensive 40! i hate 40s a lot, but if i'm really broke i drink them if it's all thats available.....i think i may actually go that route......but here you can get King Cobra for 1.50, and most things (i.e. Steel Reserve and OE 800) don't cost more than 3 bucks tops

freshman in college last year and this year i learned a fair amount about cheap rum and vodka. cheap vodka here in pittsburgh we would drank boatloads of Bankers Club Vodka which is 10.29 for a half gallon. Vladimir is cheaper than that at like 10 per half gallon. You can kill the taste a bit w/ white powerade or orange juice and a little whiskey sour mix. Cheap rums include calico which is about 16 for a half gallon or bankers club rum which is probably like 10.29 also. There is all kinds of cheap shit out there.. if fact, check out this website, it has the Pennsylvania State Store's entire catalogue of liquor. http://www.lcb.state.pa.us/webapp/Product_Management/psi_ProductDefault_inter.asp?plcbNav=|32369|
check out that website and you will find all you need to know but there are some basic cheap selections there. Oh, also, Crystal Palace Gin is like 8.50 a half gallon. Thank god i'm not drinking any of this shit anymore very frequently...it does qute a number on the ol' stomach. I've upgraded my tastes slightly.

Mr. Bostons is a good cheap brandy... their black berry brandy is good too.... but its not the best.... mad dog 20/20 is always a good choice..... Old Thompson is a decent cheap whisky.... but mr. bostons aint like $10 for a gallon.... but it is about $8 a litre... which aint bad at all... but yea like someone else said..... trading to a lifestyle of drinking all the time will get hard on the body... maybe you can stop you highschool kid like lifestyle by getting a job that'll support yourself.... then you can still smoke your weed

Colt 45 for $5!!!! thats nuts.... they're only like $2.50-$3 here

a 15 year old may not understand exactly how much money you lose in living expenses when you move out, but to give you an idea all of the money i have to my name right now is in nickels, dimes and pennies in an old wine jar above my refridgerator. unless you count the one dollar and seven cents in my bank account.

for the record, i've been looking for a new job for the past few months now. it's tougher to just get a better paying job than it may seem. though i am looking at a venture which could potentially help me out greatly even if i don't make quite as much as i currently am.

nasty.....if you can find it, get woodchuck brand cider sometime....its really sweet but crisp and still drinkable.....the granny smith is good, but so are all of their things....

i think hornsby's makes good cider, too, if i remember right. not quite as sweet as woodchuck. both are tastey......i mean, hell, they just taste like sparkling, alcoholic apple cider!

i like sake a lot, its just about my favorite for excessive drinking (which i do very rarely)

Fu-Ki makes some pretty ok stuff (imo, of course i'm far from a sake expert, given the limited variety available to a 19 year old kid in ohio) but i got a bottle of their "Plum Sake" once and it was pretty undrinkable. tastey, but it was just really weak grape wine with plum flavoring....way too sweet. but it was damn good in small quantities, just not good for drinking-drinking

i like Ozeki, cause you can get a 1.5L bottle for pretty cheap, and it gets you ddddrrrrrrrrooonk (or at least it does if you drink the whole bottle in about an hour and a half by yourself.....;))

also i got a small (750mL) bottle of Hakutsuru draft sake in Toronto - that was my first taste of the wonderful rice wine.....but honestly it wasn't my favorite of what i've tried, but then i was sampling various kinds of beverages that night including some unusual beers, so it may have been partly due to that fact, and partly due to the fact that i ordered a big wonderful cheeseburger (with some Alexander Keiths India Pale Ale) from room service....
