does anyone have any info on the gathering in MO during the nationals this year.My wife and I and our daughter are wanting to travel this summer but the gas prices are crazy. I have a camper trailer and a bunch of food.
Can't say I quite understand your question. If you are wondering about the Missouri regional, it was last month. (Had a great time. Met the love of my life there and we're getting married at Nationals.) Everyone (ok, lots of people) from that gathering in Missouri is planning to meet up again at the Oz kitchen. Head there and those kids will give you the lowdown on the Missouri scene.
the Oz kitchen? I'm sorry I'm not to sure where that is. I'm actualy from Santa Cruz I just moved here. Is that somewhere around here in Mo?
Heya, It is my understanding that there is going to be "A" gathering of the tribes the first week of July in the ozarks, as well as in Georgia, and a few other places. My humble opinion is that the more gatherings, the more expansion of conciosness. check http://welcomehere.org. there is a calander there with many potlucks, campouts, and like that. The commUnity Peace Festival is happening in Mo June 18th thru 21st. The gate is by donation check http://peaceconspiracy.org/event for info on the festie. Hope this helps.. where in Mo are you? I'm north of springfield love and light, ~mamawanda
mamawanda cooked some good food at the missouri gathering. yum. thanks. the oz kitchen is just one of hundreds of kitchens at the gathering in California.(or nevada, or whereever it will be) There were 700 or so kitchens last year. Bunch of hippies with cookware and propane burners and access to food set up and feed people. Oz kitchen has been doing it for four years, travelling all over the country feeding people where people need to be fed. They are reaching legendary status, because they live the Rainbow Kitchen life right. Where will they be at the gathering? Who knows? There will be maps though.
Give those Oz kidz a big hug from mamawanda when you see 'em. They'll be somewhere up high on a hill, yelling COFFEE!!... ya gotta love em Glad ya liked my cookin <grin> As for me, I can't make it to the west cast, but ya can believe I'll be praying for peace somewhere in the Ozarks....and maybe do a little cookin too...<big grin>
