For those of you who still have your tonsils,you may notice the white stones that come out of them. This is a result of dead cells, bacteria, and nasal drippings on the surface of your tonsils that get inside of them. They then build up and are released. If they break inside your mouth, then they can cause bad breath. Everyone who has tonsils gets them, but some don't notice because they swallow them. Sometimes, when they are halfway inside your tonsil, halfway out, it can hurt to swallow and such. If this ever occurs, look inside your mouth and your may find one. I get these VERY often, almost on a regular bases now. Trying to pull them out when they are halfway out doesnt do much at all. It only pushes them back in or breaks them. If this keeps occuring, then I think i'm going to get my tonsils taken out because it has become quite an annoyance. I don't know anyone else who gets these beasts practically every day like me. Most people don't even know what they are. It probably isn't a very healthy thing.
I have no idea what you are talking about, but I assume it's an okay thing if it's coming out of tonsils. Do you know anyone else who has noticed these, or researched them online? Because I'm sure any person has enough bacteria taken in each day to produce many of those little... packages. As for getting your tonsils removed... good luck. Unless these white things you talk of are a health problem, you'll be pressed to find a doctor who will perform the surgery. My tonsils are about 3x the size they should be, and always have been... but when I got my adnoids taken out the doctors left the tonsils because even though they get in the way when eating and such, they didn't pose a health problem. Good luck with that though.
You're talking about those tiny little ball lookin' things, right? I get that sometimes...that's fucked up. And gross...hehe.
Eww, I get those a lot, too. I used to get strep throat a LOT,so I thought that may have had something to do with it. Either that, or that I thought I was slowly dying. Whenever I see one, I pull it out. I don't even gag any more (haha, though I'm sure some people are gagging after reading this, because it sounds gross). If you go to a doctor or get your tonsils out, post up and let us know the outcome.
i get them, but only once every two months or so... atleast the ones that I've noticed. Doctors should be willing to do the surgery...for a good amount of money though... but your insurance probably wouldn't cover it though. good luck! -alberto
They've slowed down quite a bit lately. I would get my tonsils taken out, but right now i'm lacking the cha ching cha ching. I usually hack up a few in the morning. Does anyone else do this? I can't stand to swallow snot because it builds up in my chest and It blocks the air passage when I run. So now, I have formed an EXTREMELY >can't stress the extremely enough< bad habit of hacking up loogies. I do it CONSTANTLY during sports. It's so nasty...but better out than in I suppose. I'm sure it's very unattractive too. ;þ...lol well actually, I know it is. Nehoo, this habit developed from a horrible illness that my brother had and then he gave it to me. I have never had so many nasal drippings in my life. My nose was a faucet. So..it was almost a necessity <---spelling?...now I can't break the habit. It's nas-tay..but for my well being I suppose, no¿
guess i know what u are talking about.. coz the bad breath u mentioned.. stink!! i only notice that i had it since a year ago.. that's after a terrible inflamation.. damn.. it's somewehre i can't see so i have no way to pull them.. but occasionally cough out one or two with glory.. but i can feel the itchiness in my throat sometimes.. helpless..
i think i know what you mean, coz i know what you mean, but im not sure if what m linking it too is the same. actually, yes, i know what you mean. yeah, i just swallow them, i sit there for ages swallowing until it goes when one happens. but yeah, if i get one anytime soon i shall try and remember to take a peek in the mirror and see. wow, i just learned something new.
Ah, I have one right now. It's at the base of my right tonsil, and I think there are two of them. I thought I had a sore throat at first, but I realized it was only on the right side of my throat..then i realized it wasn't my throat at all, but my tonsil. I don't know anyone else who finds them as painful as me. Perhaps this is turning into a severe problem? When I swall, it feels like someone is jabbing my tonsil with a knife, it's very uncomfortable ><
H'okay, yea it did turn into a severe problem. About midnight, my tonsil pain was horribly unbearable, and it was spreading to my ear and my eye >I don't make a big deal about things, but this really was horrible<. So I went to the hospital, and it turns out I have tonsilitis. Just in my right tonsil for now though. It hurts like hell. The goods news is that they might be ripped out, depends on how severe it gets.
