The US is assembling a huge force to attack Iran if negotiations fail. There's a second aircraft carrier getting into position. F35s, F16s, B2 bombers, B52s, and much more are already in place for an extended attack or war. Israel will add it's own Air Force and missile defences. Supposedly there's a 90% chance Trump will order an attack, after all - gotta distract from Trump's credible FBI reports in the Epstein files.
I fear an attack is inevitable. Trump is not a man of peace, he is an economic colonialist. Such an attack will escalate retaliations on a global scale through terrorism. Any regime change may bring civil war. Have we learned nothing from recent history such as Libya and Syria? I could even look at Afghanistan where we armed the Mujahedeen to fight the Soviets only for the evil regime of the Taliban to be the eventual winners, 9/11 to happen and lives lost in the war that followed.
I've watched a documentary on french TV, people in Iran seems to be waiting for help from USA, they can't make a revolution because of the weapons and the army of Iranian government. So after the 30000-80000 deaths, I think they really need some help.
Iran has a large population nearly a hundred million. There can be air strikes perhaps, but hopefully no ground invasion. American campaigns against North Korea, Vietnam and Afghanistan ended in defeat with heavy casualties mainly due to the almost never-ending stream of adversaries. Saudi Arabia have refused to provide its bases or territory for air strikes against Iran as well. I think diplomacy and dialogue with Iran with neutral parties and UN agencies should be the way forward so as to effect necessary reforms in Iran.
"You gotta win the midterms, because if we don't win the midterms...I'll be impeached." "If we happen to be in a war with somebody, no more elections. That's good."
How can a country the size of the USA allow this complete lunatic to stay in power. What I can't understand is why he has not been assassinated. I would certainly nominate the assassin for the Nobel peace prize.
This makes sense What could happen if the US strikes Iran? Here are seven scenarios I don't know what's going to happen its all different this time compared to Iraq war.
US-Israel attacks Iran: Tehran launches retaliatory strikes as Trump says ‘major combat operation’ under way.
Trump made clear that this would be no limited strike aimed at cajoling Tehran into concessions at the negotiating table. If Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) did not surrender they would be killed, and the country’s armed forces, its missiles and navy would be smashed. It now seems likely that only a complete capitulation on Iran’s part could stop this unprovoked war of aggression in collaboration with Israel, with no legal foundation, launched with minimal consultation with Congress or the American public.
So many Iranians living in exile in The West. We hear their aspirations for a pluralistic, non- aligned secular polity in Iran. We can understand the desire for equality for women freedom of speech & freedom to worship God in peace.
Trumpo the Clown is as evil as it gets, but then the iranian occupying regime is no less evil. Their elimination would be a great benefit to Iran and the world. ´ However... Trumpo is bound to screw this up, turn it into an occupation, try to steal the oil, and so on. I've yet to see him do anything right. What a mess!
Trump is the only one who began to try to make fall the Iranian regime. No other country want to help to make them fall, except Israel. All other leaders seem to want to keep ayatollah's regime without nuclear programe but with the same oppression of the Iranian people. The world's leaders seem to juste want to trade with ayatollah regardless of the oppression of Iranian people.
