My first wife hated I went barefoot. The snarky comments and looks of disgust got to me and I cut my barefooting days to a minimum. She had a job where she worked every other weekend from 7AM - 7PM. After a morning cup of coffee, I’d wander barefoot in the grass for several minutes. Then go off for my barefoot adventures. Sometimes I would see how many random stores I had the courage to walk In shoeless. My Saturday record: 7. Sometimes I would chill out in the public library, much to the chagrin of a never smiling, stern librarian. Though she never said anything to me, if looks could kill… My favorite Sunday excursion was a downtown plaza with cement, grass and rocks. A Barefooters delight. There were several office buildings there reflecting my image in the mirror glassed windows. That’s when I decided I look better barefoot than with shoes. Just a bit of sanity in my life, married to a wife who thought it was ridiculous I liked to go barefoot. I no longer plan such outings; I don’t have to. Living alone with no girlfriend. Just single. Barefoot. And happy.
Wow that’s not right about how your wife didn’t like you going barefoot. I have dated women that I told them I’m a barefooter and they ask me what does that mean? And I told them that I never wear socks or shoes and it was good for a little bit. But after a while the girl I was dating she would get mad and she told me that men should wear socks and shoes not go barefoot everywhere. I said I told you that I never wear socks or shoes . She said I thought you would go barefoot around your house and outside in your yard not everywhere and you even drive barefoot? I said yes I do and I said now that we have been dating for a few weeks now you are saying this that you don’t like me going barefoot everywhere? She said men shouldn’t go barefoot only women should. I said wow I wish you would have said something after the first few days not now after a few weeks. She said that she doesn’t like that I was barefoot more than she was . So I called it off and the second woman didn’t like when people would ask me why am I barefoot and she didn’t like me being barefoot when we would go places. That relationship didn’t last long. But then I met a woman that loved going barefoot everywhere and she didn’t have a problem with me going barefoot everywhere so we did get married and we did everything barefoot and went places barefoot . Being barefoot was a big part of our life together. I still live the barefoot lifestyle now after she left but I do have a hard time finding a woman that is ok with me being barefoot everywhere and in all types of weather. And I will never give up my barefoot lifestyle for anything I love my barefoot lifestyle and my friends think it’s awesome that I go barefoot everywhere. And now most of my friends are going barefoot everywhere and so are there wives and kids are going barefoot everywhere.
I don’t plan on going places barefoot I just go barefoot everywhere a awesome barefoot lifestyle and I love it .
Going barefoot is such fucking joy! My wife has (sorta) accommodated mine, as I am perpetually barefoot at home so it doesn't look as odd when I move outdoors barefoot. No transition to draw attention. Barefoot here...barefoot there. (Barefoot barefoot everywhere!)
