Female Pianists?

Eliane Elias is an artist of the highest order on my charts.
That woman has a feel, a touch and soul like none other.

I feel the same though about Blossom Dearie, Patricia Barber and Liz Story.

 

Carole King, not just a pianist, but one of the great songwriters of my generation.

Another great songwriter, singer and pianist, Carly Simon.

 

Despite having listened to this work more than 500 times over 9 months back in 1970, I never tire of its composition and Anna Fedorova is one of the few pianists who really does it justice.
