Loeffler is moving SBA out of Minneapolis.

She's the wife of billionaire Sprecher who donated to Trump in the 2024 campaign.

Loeffler is a former U.S. senator from GA and one of the U.S. senators who planned to object to Biden's win on Jan. 6, 2021 but changed her mind after Trump's deadly riot.

SBA to relocate Minneapolis district office | kare11.com

    excerpt:

"MINNEAPOLIS — Small Business Administration head Kelly Loeffler has announced the agency will relocate its Minneapolis office following what she describes as "hostility" towards Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

"We will relocate our offices to cities that comply with federal law - and take seriously their responsibility to promote public safety on Main Street," said Loeffler."

The median home price in the U.S. increased to $413,500 in August 2025.

    It's a 4.66% change from July.

Some of the increase is likely due to Trump's tariffs and labor shortages caused by his deportation campaign.

What are potential ‘hard ways’ Trump could try to take Greenland?

    excerpt:

"Reuters reported that officials have discussed putting together a Compact of Free Association, an international agreement between the US and three independent, sovereign Pacific island nations: the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands and the Republic of Palau.

The political arrangement grants the US responsibility for defence and security in exchange for economic assistance. The precise details of COFA agreements vary depending on the signatory.

For a COFA agreement, in theory, Greenland would need to separate from Denmark."

Trump's use of special weapons against Venezuela.

US used powerful sonic weapon in Venezuela during raid to capture Maduro: incredible witness account | New York Post

    excerpt:

What ensued, he said, was not a battle, but a slaughter.

“We were hundreds, but we had no chance,” he said. “They were shooting with such precision and speed; it felt like each soldier was firing 300 rounds per minute.”

Then came the weapon that still haunts him.

“At one point, they launched something; I don’t know how to describe it,” he said. “It was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly I felt like my head was exploding from the inside.”

The effects were immediate and horrific.

“We all started bleeding from the nose,” he said. “Some were vomiting blood. We fell to the ground, unable to move. We couldn’t even stand up after that sonic weapon — or whatever it was.”

Trump is selectively cutting off $10 billion for social services like child care to democratic-lead states CA, NY, CO, IL, and MN.

A judge has temporarily halted the cuts.

It's part of his campaign to cripple blue states and coerce the populace into turning against Democrats in the 2026 midterm elections.

He managed to dispose of Gov. Walz who had been running for reelection.

Trump has been essentially calling Hegseth to execute Sen. Kelly for treason.

Hegseth isn't following through on that request.

Hegseth talked about a court martial of Kelly. He apparently is chickening out on that also.

The latest ploy is to try to demote Kelly and cut off his retirement pay.

Hegseth has started a process of trying to strip Sen. Mark Kelly of military rank over the "illegal orders" video. The intent is to reduce Kelly's retirement pay.

Hegseth is arguing that Kelly has violated Article 133 and 134 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, specifically provisions covering conduct unbecoming of an officer.

Hegseth is attempting to retroactively demote Kelly while he's in retirement.

    It's typical of Trump.

During his first term, Trump fired McCabe days before his retirement which took away his retirement pay. McCabe was able to recover the pay after a couple years of legal maneuvering.

The Washington Post is reporting that Trump is considering giving Stephen Miller a role overseeing the running of Venezuela.

Miller has become Trump's 'minister of everything' during his second term.

During his first term, it was his son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Trump Raises the Price of Filing a Tax Return

Trump Raises the Price of Filing a Tax Return

    excerpt:

"The IRS officially announced the end of the popular Direct File program this week, meaning many Americans will once again need to rely on paid tax preparers to file their income tax returns. The move was expected, given heavy lobbying from tax prep companies like Intuit and H&R Block to put a halt to the IRS’s popular program.

Direct File was first launched as a pilot program with funding allocated under the Inflation Reduction Act in 2022. The program allowed taxpayers with relatively simple returns to file online directly with the IRS rather than using private services outside the government.

Intuitively, Direct File made sense. Americans aren’t required to consult with private companies before paying a parking ticket or a fee to enter a national park, handing over their personal information and bank accounts in the process. So why should they have to rely on such services to do something as simple as enter a number from a box on their W-2?"

Trump says U.S. is "in charge" of Venezuela, Maduro jailed in New York after U.S. military operation

    excerpt:

"Some of my Republican colleagues told me, 'Oh, we think the president's bluffing' or 'This is not really going to happen,'" Kaine said.

"Now my colleagues will see this is not a bluff. And now my colleagues have seen President Trump unable to give a clear explanation about what this is for — narcotrafficking, regime change, seizure of oil," Kaine said. "They've watched the president unable to give a clear description of what it means that the United States will 'run' Venezuela. They've watched the president and secretary of state suggest that Cuba should be next. It's time for Congress to get its ass off the couch and do what the Constitution mandates that we do."

    excerpt:

Democratic Sen. Tim Kaine plans to bring his latest war powers resolution up for a vote this week, calling the military action in Venezuela "an illegal war."

"There is no legal justification in the Constitution, in the history of the Constitution, or an American law that would authorize the president to wage war, to depose President Maduro and seize its oil and run the country of Venezuela without coming to Congress," Kaine told reporters Saturday.

The U.S. Supreme Court gave Trump the benefit of the doubt for about a year in his quest to stop birthright citizenship. A ruling probably won't be issued until June 2026 just before the Supreme Court goes on summer vacation.

The Supreme Court has delayed direct conflict with Trump, but history suggests that will soon change

    excerpt:

"The court obliged, issuing a ruling in June that allowed the administration to take a major victory lap. Some court watchers wondered at the time why the court, as it had the authority to do, did not simply rule that the policy violates the Constitution’s 14th Amendment, as every judge so far has ruled.

Instead, the court waited until December to take up a case on the merits of the plan, with a ruling due by the end of June."

The Supreme Court has delayed direct conflict with Trump, but history suggests that will soon change

    excerpt:

"But now the court is about to issue definitive rulings, not provisional decisions that merely decide whether government actions can be implemented while litigation continues.

Tension between the president and the court is nothing new, but justices have often hesitated to rule against the White House early in a term, when voters have just given a president a new mandate. There are multiple examples of significant rulings against presidents when they are later in their terms and waning in popularity.

Toward the end of President Harry Truman’s presidency in 1952, the court had little hesitation in ruling that his attempt to seize control of steel mills during a labor dispute was unconstitutional.

And in 1974, the Supreme Court helped put a final nail in the coffin of President Richard Nixon’s presidency when it ruled against him over his attempt to withhold tapes of conversations in the White House during the Watergate scandal. Nixon resigned days later."

Sounds like she doesn’t know which way to go, constantly changing with the direction of the wind. Who needs people like that? Why doesn’t she move to a predominantly “red” state or district, then?

Portland shooting latest: Police chief alleges gang 'nexus;' 2 shot remain in hospital

    excerpt:

Following the shooting Thursday, Portland Mayor Keith Wilson told reporters, "We know what the federal government says happened here. There was a time when we could take them at their word. That time is long past."

"We are calling on ICE to halt all operations in Portland until a full and independent investigation can take place," he said. "Our community deserves answers."
