I'm scared!!!

TARABELLE,hang in there! The folks in those cubicles deal with this stuff day in day out,they just shuffle you & your paperwork on to someone else...so,~relax~. I'm caregiver to an 83 yr.old lady who was on Aricept for dementia,she too was delusional,(combative & just plain mean.)I believe THAT was what was causing her to be that way.Since being taken off Aricept,her mind(& attitude!) has improved greatly! So,if any of you have older folks around acting strange,check their meds!

 

Thanks, Celeste. Being a caregiver must be so hard, esp. if they are mean.My Dad is on sooo many meds right now. I know that the one that they are giving him for his delusions is making him drool and have tremors. It's hard for him to hold on to his diginity and it breaks my heart.
