sure, I'm more inflexible and have lost a bit of energy at age 60. Makeup routine takes a bit longer .Still running every day, but I'm quite a bit slower. I'm drinking more and I go to bed earlier. But life is more serene, and I have no worries. I don't take the subway anymore but call a cab, which my company pays for. Work is a cinch now as I work from a checklist and they pay me pretty well. Even the flights back to Edinburgh which I do several times a year is much better since I fly business class, which my company pays for. Finally, I still look pretty good and the young chaps are still hitting on me
Nothing you can do about it - plus being in my mid-40s now, I seem to be getting younger inside and out! And I love my grays, wouldn't die my hair at all, lol.
Thank you Bjgirl. As I have said, compliments from another woman are so satisfying specially when it relates to appearance and specially now when I have reached age 69. Thank you dear.
Aging? I embrace it wholeheartedly. I love my gray beard, and I’m satisfied with my overall appearance. Could lose a little bit of weight and work on flexibility- but no longer can do acrobatic stuff like when I was younger . And I absolutely love older women- ever since I was a young man! Their wisdom, sensuality, and no nonsense approach has always been appealing to me!
“And I absolutely love older women- ever since I was a young man! Their wisdom, sensuality, and no nonsense approach has always been appealing to me!” I’m with you @Eric!
Well I say, you sure look good for 60. I gotta say reduced energy levels are the one thing that's a bit of a bummer as I get older. Reminiscing and looking at decisions you may have made differently with hindsight is another. But hey, life is a heap big life experience and as long as we learn from that experience and expand our minds as we get older new doors will sure as open.
Getting older does have it's pros and cons. But I still get up every day and go do things. Always planning the next adventure just like I did when I was younger.
