What does a “widowed” relationship status mean?

Well, basically, was doing some research on my own on “relationship statuses”: Such as:

“Single”

“Engaged”

“In a Relationship”

“Married”

“Divorced”

“Separated”

And “Widowed”??

So I pretty much get the gist of what the others are? But what does a “Widowed Relationship Status mean”? And Can you like change from being “widowed” to being “unwidowed”???

 

Surely becoming 'unwidowed' would be the 3rd one your list - in a relationship.

 

Okay, well, not saying this is Rocket Science, but I think I have come to conclusion a widowed person is someone whose spouse has died or passed away??? Am I getting warmer???

 

A widow is a woman whose husband is dead. A widower is a man whose wife is dead.
