Miss and Junior Miss nudist beauty pageants in France and Eastern Europe

Has anyone seen or been to one of these things? They look pretty fun and interesting. I have around two dozen short clips and two full documentaries of these events, all of them taking place in either Cap D' Age, France or Odessa in the Ukraine.


According to what I've read, these events were popular from the 1970s all the way through the mid 2000s, after which interest in them seemed to wane and they eventually faded into obscurity.

 

It's like beauty contests in the textile world. If women are lined up for evaluation, most people would say it's embarrassing, not fun and interesting at all. And I think women wouldn't want to do it any more.

 

Yes they had Miss and Junior Miss pageants at the French nudist sites I went to every year, including Cap d'Agde, other pageants were just as good if not sometimes better. They were always very popular back then.
I have also seen nudist pageants more recently at the Hedonism clubs in Jamaica, but adults-only.

 

Humans of both genders line up for evaluation all the time, regardless of gender or how much you're wearing. Military and police cadet inspections, formal introduction of the cheerleading squad at pep rallies, standing for roll call during competitive swim meets, and theater auditions are all prime examples.

At the end of the day, we're all just gears in the machine.

 

Most of the French ones I've seen were at the same two locations- a big modern resort with the stage set up in the pool area, and in the grass at this old and slightly rundown French estate. Do either of those ring a bell?

 

@NaughtyMechanic Yes, they sound very familiar. We went to many naturist sites, most often Montalivet, La Jenny, Euronat & Cap d'Agde. We went to many others too, I can't remember them all, there was Arnaoutchot, La Serre, Origan and more, we often went to the south-western region of France. My mother, aunt, and cousins used to do the pageants but at some sites there were plenty of other evening fun and games too on the stage.
