Oh, please. Judge's orders only mean something if they rule in his direction. Laws are for the little and poor people.

So, what are the consequences for him not following the ruling? Nothing.

Perhaps better than the government being shut down over a squabble over whether or not to continue Covid-era subsidies to the Affordable Care Act would be for the shutdown to be used to force Trump and the GOP to finally present their healthcare plan.

If the GOP and Trump are so annoyed by Obamacare that they will keep the government shut down over an issue about its subsidies, let them present and implement a better healthcare plan altogether.

The public has been waiting over ten years for Trump who keeps blaming his lack of plan on Obama and Biden. When asked about during his 60 Minutes interview last week, Trump didn't have an answer.

 

Trump is still blaming rising grocery prices on Biden, even though Trump said during the 2024 campaign that he would bring them down starting on day one of his second term.

Trump thinks his unrealistic goal to lower gasoline to $1.50 per gallon with Drill, Baby, Drill is going to be his Trump card that will save him from the public backlash of rising prices.
