I require video chat before hooking up. I have no problem saying no to people who can't read or are flakes. I've been with 20/30 guys over the years and never had a problem. I state up front oral only, no drinking and no drugs. Lots of guys don't even get to video chat stage because they ask if I do anal or smoke pot or if they can drink. Nope! You fail!

Everyone worries about this, and the solution is simple: Use condoms and oral dams if eating pussy or ass. It's a pain in the ass for a lot of men and more so when condom use makes being spontaneous almost impossible because who carries condoms with them? I know that with some guys, a condom will murder an erection trying to put it on and can ruin the mood and everything else and definitely when you stick with your requirement to cover that dick up. Like the women said in the 80s and when HIV showed up on our shores, "No glove, no love!"

You use condoms and the only thing you're bringing home is yourself. Do not make the mistake some guys have made and think that just because you didn't let him cum inside you makes you safe; the moment his dick went into your mouth or your ass, you run the risk since his pre-cum will carry any infectious shit.

This is one of those "duh" kind of things that makes me wonder why this doesn't pop into a guy's head first and foremost. Worried or not sure about him? Condoms. Stop by a convenience store and get some. If there's a 'downside" to this, it's making sure your lady doesn't find your stash of condoms and starts asking questions you do not want to answer.

I could never suck a man's cock with a condom on it, can't do it. Luckily my promiscuous days are over and have reduced the number of cocks I suck on to the hand-full of guys I've known for many years.

I did it a couple of times and hated it. All I could taste and feel was whatever the condom was made out of plus the lubricant that made my mouth go numb - then I found out that they put the spermicide in the lubricant and the spermicide will make your mouth go numb. It just made me be very, very careful about who's dick I was sucking.

Did you ever try unused or flavored condoms?
The point LowHangers brought up is most guys won't do oral with a condom on, either for giving or receiving. I am sadly one of those guys where erections were not the greatest with a condom on. I have a wide base, but average length, so bigger condoms were like an elephants trunk.
I've had condoms break on me at least 3 times with women. Thank God the one gal took Plan B birth control and then got on the pill after testing. For men after the fact, that would be PEP, if you weren't on PrEP. I think you have to go to a walkin clinic or ER to get on PEP to prevent hiv. But you have 72 hours to do so, the sooner the better.

Much better to be on PrEP daily. Or the on demand dosing of 2 pills at least 2 hours before you have unprotected sex, and one pill the next two days! If you keep having sex, there is a simple plan for that, keep taking 1 pill daily until you finish having unprotected sex, then 1 pill per day for the next 2 days after you stopped.
On demand doesn't work safely for women, they need daily dosage.
My doc is pissing me off, dragging his feet on PrEP. Grr!

The flavored ones tasted like shit thanks to the artificial flavor and sweeteners. Unlubricated ones taste like whatever they make them out of. The main thing for me - other than the fucked-up taste - is I couldn't feel the dick in my mouth; I felt detached from it and they're moaning and groaning and cumming in the condom and I feel the pulses but it's not the same as it'd be if the dick wasn't all wrapped up. And I'm not sucking cum out of a condom. Hell the fuck no.

So, the choices were get used to the awful taste, numb mouth, other unpleasantness or do my due diligence to make sure he's clean. I know that it's... illogical to suck cock without a condom but "in my defense" I'll say that those of us who suck dick knows that it's better without the condom but safer with it.

I've been with several women who said, "No glove, no love!" and I've tugged it on, only to have them rip it off and many of them saying, "I can't feel you with that damned thing on!" As far as I know, I didn't get them pregnant. I've eaten pussy using an oral dam and it didn't taste or feel lgood and I felt disconnected from the pussy and they've told me, "Get rid of that damned thing and eat me!" The really fucked-up part about not eating pussy with a dam is that chances are damned good it's how I got the HPV virus that ultimately gave me cancer.

I just can't point to a woman and say, "Oh, she did this to me!" because I've eaten a lot of pussy unprotected and "a lot" is a gross understatement. And before anyone asks, yes: I'll suck cock and eat pussy without the protection even if such a decision, logically, doesn't make sense.

I had sex with a woman in the late 90's, and with a make shift dental dam for oral. It was the only tine I used a dental dam ... and thank god I did! She had told me that she had cervical cancer and was going to have a hysterectomy!
At the time the link to HPV and cervical cancer either wasn't known at all, or definitely not common knowledge! Let alone the link to oral and throat cancer in men from eating pussy! It was a one time deal, I lowered my standards. Not sure what prompted me to do the dental dam? Might have been the first time giving oral to a woman?

I am so grateful I did when I later learned cervical cancer was caused by one or two different aggressive strains of HPV!
I did get Guardasil-9 when they increased the age range. You can still get it if older, but you need a doctor's prescription, and it will most likely not be covered by insurance at all.

I think its worth it for bi, gay men, their fenake partners, or women into swinging if over age 45.
You might not have been exposed to all 9 of the strains yet?! And the antibody levels are 88 to 100 times that from natural exposure!
So it won't clear you of any of the 9 strains if your body cant quickly clear then in a year or so, but it can help prevent that strain from overwhelming your immune system!

Plus protect you from anal, penile, cervix, and throat cancer WHEN, NOT IF, you get exposed again! In the M2M community, I've seen numbers of 90 to 95% of men have HPV!
And, it protects against the most common strains that cause genital warts!! And who fucking wants that when there us a shot to prevent it?!!

Last I heard, it's not indicated for people over 45 but, who knows - things change.

Indicated in that their primary concern is protecting women's fertility, hence age 45 as the cut-off for them willing to spend limited health dollars. It's not their concern if you need your cervix removed after 45, or get cancer, as they think your reproductive days are done.
And they don't factor in people having numerous sex partners with lots of chances for exposure.
Or even vanilla folks getting divorced and having to date all over again?!

I think it plays into a bottom-line kind of thing: If you wanna have sex with a man but the disease card is scaring you, there are things you can do toward the safety of everyone involved.

    YUCK!!
I'm glad I returned from 'Nam just as all the ladies were going bonkers over THE PILL..Fun times.. guys were clean too.. Oh, there were some things out there, but I never got them..
I do test positive/non-reactive for Hep C antibodies.. My wife doesn't.. So I must not be able to infect?

How/when I contracted, recovered isn't known.. Stateside? (about 300 partners 75% female from late '71 thru early '76) or SE Asia needle use? (maybe one of my Army Amnesty withdrawals was actually active Hep C?)
More likely I was exposed but my body kept it at bay..
Never used a rubber (until I got married and my wife didn't want to use contraception (hormonal? I forgot.. but it was only for awhile)

but I reckon I was lucky?

    or highly discerning?

Nah.. that came later when I got married..[/QUOTE]
