1967 Dodge corenet 500. 727 transmission with a bored out 318 ci v8. Basically a 318 machined to a 360. Modified motor mounts ( due to high torque) it's a sleeper.
1962 R3 Studebaker Avantis are nice. In 62 they broke 29 U.S. speed records at the Salt Flats. But there are sooo many others.....
My 1970 VW Camper Van never looked this good. I owned 4 of these camper vans. I'd love one of the new ones! It's not just a car, it's a home away from home! The one I owned like this I sold for the same price I bought it ($1000), after years of living in it and trashing it. A restored one like this is probably worth $20,000 or more!
I had a chance to buy one imported from Germany a few years ago. It had a Corvair engine and complete camper set up. All original interior/exterior with pristine owner's manual, jack, etc. It was a really good price, but I was afraid of maintenance on that Corvair set up.
I owned a VW Syncro van, 4x4. It was a beast, best camper van ever. I sold it with 160,000 miles for more than I paid for it. Today refurb Syncros sell for 30k, I paid 3k! The tranny was made by Daimler Benz with a super low first gear and rear locking differential. Great travel van, still miss it.
