    Many remember this legendary man.

He gave up thousands, millions of money to serve our great country, then died tragically in the middle of a war. I cant believe they ruled his death as a victim of a friendly fire. NOTHING about a fire is friendly, but I always consider this guy a hero and a definite role model in how he gave up materialistic things for the things many people dont have balls or faith to do or believe in,and do something great.

I picked YES he should be!

Compared to the many hundreds of NFL players elected to the NFL H.O.F. for their touchdowns, sacks, extra points, interceptions, and dozens of other stats: How many had the courage and character to join the US Army Rangers during the middle of a war?

And your question was answered by crickets. Some players served in WWII but he is the lone one in recent times
