What does it mean when a woman is called sexy

    I know its a compliment so I'm pleased when it happens to me. But what exactly prompts that description? Do men get called sexy?

    I take it as sexually attractive/ appealing. Something completely separate from “ pretty “ or “ beautiful “.

    As with all comments, it’s about the headspace of the speaker.

    if the person calling a woman sexy is happy, or even horny, that’s a positive headspace. That doesn’t mean the comment is not objectifying, especially if the speaker is a stranger.


    Yes, men get called sexy.

    I love the term. I find it appealing, and I am honored anyone calls me sexy. Yes, men get called sexy - I personally know one of the sexiest men I have ever known, just the thought of him lights a fire in me. So yes, it's entirely possible.
