I was thinking.... From the moment we're born the countdown to death begins. Its a very negative viewpoint but what if we're all wrong in our religious and worldviews. What if none of this matters at all? What if life on earth is just the product of unbelievable chance. Then every action we make in life would be absolutly pointless. All the love we make, the laughs we share, the things we do, would all just be things we find to help kill time. Death is the only certainty in life. What if there is nothing else? That once we die our being is gone for good. Then everything we do would just be something that kills time until the day we die. I hope theres something after death. Just not hell, cuz that would kinda suck.
Life on earth is an unbelievable chance. Think about the millions of sperm that attempted to penetrate the egg and only one out of the millions did and here you are years later. Think about the first plant life in the bottom of the sea to give off oxygen and something millions of years later evolved to feed off that and then from there life sprang exponentially. We are here for no reason, but its what you make of the life your given that makes death a great thing because you know that when you die you go back into the earth and recycle life. Its beautiful, life and death are one in the same and it makes you appreciate both equally.
Putting aside questions of Ultimate Meaning...is your life meaningless? Or do you live for that love you make, the laughs you share, the things you do? In the end, very few people REALLY base their lives on some ultimate goal. They live their life, their human life, finding most of their meaning and reasons for living in their friends, family, work and leisure. By the way, if there's nothing after death but rot, it won't bother you because you won't be around to worry about it. So relax, and just live life!
if you play probability, from a scientific point of view 1:100 = impossible so it's impossible for us to exist obviously we do (or maybe not) gotta love numbers and pure logic
We contain within each of us an individual and unique soul/spirit/chi. If this entity can be described as a form of energy, it would suggest that it could neither be created nor destroyed. Perhaps then, after our physical being expires the ‘chi’ energy is cast off and converts into another form of energy. Still holding its individual and unique existence our ‘chi’ may eventually re-enter or be reborn into a new capsule/body. Alternatively, the energy may merely be dissipated into the surrounding environment in the form of heat. If it were only possible to place souls into capsules for interaction with the reality we live in today, it would suggest that our souls could never have been created and will never be destroyed. In essence, we are capable of living eternally within ourselves.
Yeah, gotta love it, but you're wrong. 1:100 is 1%. That's low, but not THAT low. Even 1:1,000,000,000, low as that is, it still isn't IMPOSSIBLE. Unlikely? Improbable? Yes, but until that number before the colon is a zero, there's always a chance. Like, the odds of winning the lotto are really low, one in a few hundred million or something outrageous like that. But people still win the lotto every week.
what if you are born into yourself all over again. When you die, time for you seems to stop but goes on for everyone else until everything ends and when it ends it starts all over again exactly the same, then it comes around to when u was born and u are born again, same body, same parents, same life, that would explain deja vu, and thats why deja vu is cloudy because ur soul forgets almost everytying because of this huge amount of time that has passed.
