Hi, I'm looking to roadtrip to Canada this summer. I'd like to get in on the Cannibis Cup. I don't exactally know the date or location though. Any suggestions? I could definitely use some help on knowing about the cup and some tips on roadtripping. It's my first time. Do I need a passport or just some valid ID? Any info you could give me would really be help on my trip-thanx
i havent heard about the cannibis cup. whereabouts in canada is it supposed to be? http://www.digihitch.com/ http://hipforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=70102
i didnt need my passport when i went to canada.....i had it with me, but never showed it to anyone, just my drivers liscense. One tip i learned traveling across Canada, is make sure you always have plenty of gas, and get it whenever you can, bc depending on where you travel, is it few and far between gas stations.
I just found out the Cannabis Cup is in Amsterdam this year. So I don't think it's going to happen. Maybe next year.
A few things closer to you are the Moscow Hempfest http://www.barterfair.org/ the Missoula Hempfest http://www.missoulahempfest.com/ and the Seattle Hempfest http://www.seattlehempfest.com/ . And be sure to check out my Northwestern US forum.
if I'm not mistaken, the cannabis cup is always in Amsterdam, at least as long as I've known of it anyways...
To enter in canada by road you only need a valid ID. The customs won't bother you a lot cuz we are not paranoid...
If you don't want to get stopped at the border, you can't look like a hippie much (or at least not a poor hippie). If they stop you at the border, it is essential to have money or credit cards. I speak from experience. They kicked me out and said come back when you have $50/day for every day you plan on spending here. And said don't bring the hitchhiking hippies. They blurted out "we're in a band" to the border agent.
I'm lookin to do somekinda big road trip to this summer. Just kinda visit the country and nice hippy 'havens'
both canada and amsterdam have their bi-annual canibus cups....i believe canadas is held in a cafe called blunt brothers in british columbia, or at least it used to.
