Wow. Some of you are so smart you should be running the country. Violence is everywhere and not just in our society. I am not for a war with Iran either and frankly we dont have the ground troops right now even if I did support it. But some of you are so full of bullshit its comical. Politicians have been crooked since the Romans. Man has been violent since we figured out that if you hit something with a rock hard enough it will fall down. So stop with this bullshit about how our country is so violent and evil. Fuck. If you think about it the world has been at war for thousands of years because the Muslims and the Jews are still fighting over who Abraham's favorite son was. Have we killed innocent people? Yes. Were we wrong to go to Iraq? Yes. Is Bush an idiot? Yes. But we are not the only ones with innocent blood on our hands folks. Whineing fucking maggots.
I agree with everything you said except for two things. First: Politicians were crooked long before Romulus and Remus sucked a wolf's tits. Rome didn't invent crooked politicians, they just perfected crooked politicians. Second: Bush is not an idiot. He just plays one on TV. It's just part of the game, after all, in the public's eye it's better to be an idiot than a figurehead for a psychotic dictatorship. 332! 55! 666! 42?
So we have to wonder what type of activities the Bush administration and the Pentagon will do now to satisfy their egos. They may have to rely more on verbal rhetoric and threats that aren't backed up with full military action to satisfy their ego. Or, use low-budget type activities to manipulate the situations in other countries that trick the people into behaving in a way that's in line with the administration's agenda. You can see already all of the domestic cuts Bush is proposing to pay for his Iraq situation. I wonder if the public will still think all of this money on Iraq was worth it when they see their own programs being cut and start feeling the effects.
Here's an example of how proliferation continues even when a country has already acquired nuclear weapons or equipment. It's hard to believe the government of Pakistan didn't know about the exchange of something as complicated as a centrifuge. And if they didn't know, they should have. You have to wonder what else got loose. http://www.cnn.com/2005/WORLD/asiapcf/03/10/pakistan.iran/index.html .
