China told the EU that that a Russian defeat in Ukraine may push US to target Beijing next. https://www.business-standard.com/w...oses-ukraine-war-eu-talks-125070400230_1.html
So. A ceasefire is a defeat? The killing is to continue? The attachment shows a lot of clarity beneath a passive/aggressive mumbo/ jumbo.
At the insistence of the banks, Donald Duck has been trying to collapse the Chinese economy, and make them pay, with different right-wing rags constantly suggesting China is already a madhouse. The simple truth is, he's lucky to have made the slightest impact on their economy and, at that, only by slowing down the entire world economy, and threatening to destroy his own. China is basically saying Donald Duck has reached the end of his rope, and will either hang himself, or be assassinated. The sad truth is, the US navy is in no shape for WWIII, and can barely maintain the ships we have, Britain is just as bad, and NATO is a joke in bad taste, and are only now getting their shit together. In other words, China is about to rule both the waves and outer space, with their seven trillion dollar larger GDP, which is about to grow even larger and swallow the entire world economy. Note that India is buying Russian oil to help fund the war, and telling the US to screw themselves. As we say in the US, you have to know which side of your bread is buttered, and the pendulum is swinging towards China. If the war in the Ukraine ended tomorrow, the Chinese would help the Russians to start another one, along with anyone else interested. Russia's entire economy is now on a war footing, and it will take years to change it again. Either you have the money, or you have the guns, and Russia has always had guns, but can't hang onto their money. The Chinese are famous for their creative business strategies.
Notions of China playing the victim card would be laughable, if it were not also offensive and outrageous. China's communist government are the worst bastards who have ever lived. The CCP exterminated an estimated 45 million Chinese under Mao alone. They sponsored the Cambodian Genocide, the Darfur Genocide, and are directly responsible for the ongoing genocide against the Uyghers which has featured mass rape camps, sexual torture, slave labor, forced labor, forced sterilization, and other horrors. They are responsible for the imprisonment, torture, and execution of political prisoners, and the harvesting and sale of their internal organs. They bear full responsibility for the imprisonment of Nobel Laureate Liu Xiaobo, and are at least partially responsible for conditions that led to his death. While Covid may have arisen spontaneously, or via an accidental lab release, they suppressed information about human-to-human transmission and allowed international travel after they knew about it. They suppressed the supply of reagents, research materials, and information about the genome. An estimated 18 to 36 million people died world-wide from Covid, and it caused huge, negative economic and societal impacts. While Covid would have probably caused many of those things regardless of how they responded, they also made all of these problems much worse than they might have been. They engage in massive espionage, cyber hacking, intellectual property theft, CCP backed fraud campaigns, intimidation of journalists, electoral interference, and violent attacks against anti-CCP protesters in the West. They make numerous territorial incursions against their neighbors, and routinely harass them.
As for the notion of Beijing being "targeted" by the US, a better way to put it would be that the invasion on Ukraine was a planned distraction to make it easier for China to invade Taiwan. That is essentially the "targeting" they would like to avoid. I also find it odd that an Indian would post anything even vaguely supportive of Beijing, given that they have significant responsibility for the estimated 4.7 million Indians who died from Covid (see the post above), and that the Chinese government has made illegal claims to Indian territory, including Ladahk and Arunchal Pradesh, and have already defacto annexed portions of India's ally Bhutan.
Money talks, and bullshit walks. Every country is heavily censoring their news, and putting one spin after another on the war, according to whatever they believe people will buy. India has nothing to gain from supporting the US, unless all out war breaks out, and many invest in them today simply because they oppose the US.
I have not posted this in support of China, but that the world's second superpower is backing Russia to win the war with its extensive resources. Russia defeated and submitting to terms by US-Nato would mean that Russia will soon become an adversary to China as well and the Chinese are determined to avoid this scenario. I had posted this theme earlier as well. A protracted war between US-Nato and Russia which would weaken each other substantially would obviously be in China's interests. This war has the potential to be a white elephant for the US-Nato as well in the coming future, and this can make things easier for China to take back Taiwan. India has good relations with the EU and have recently had naval exercises with them. India also has a strategic and close relationship with France.
India, China, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Ghana, Brazil, even Saudi Arabia and many other countries including EU are all importing cheap oil and gas from the Russians. December 2024 — Monthly analysis of Russian fossil fuel exports and sanctions – Centre for Research on Energy and Clean Air However Indian imports of oil is inferior to the gas and oil that Europe is importing from Russia even now three years after the war, citing possible inflation and consequent hardship as a reason. Also the biggest customers of cheap Indian refined oil processed from russian crude are the americans and europeans . And more interestingly, in 2024 the EU spent 39% more on Russian fossil fuel imports than it set aside for Ukraine. This means that the EU is funding Russia more than it is funding Ukraine. If it is a matter of principle, they should have cut off russian oil and gas in the first day of the invasion itself, but they have not done it even after three years as they know that the resultant inflation and higher prices in europe will create widespread resentment among the public, and possible election fiascos. Statistics shows that thousands of europeans and americans die of hypothermia even now due to homelesness or lack of cheap fuel to warm their homes. Since they are poor, western governments and leadership obviously ignore them as a mere statistic and focus on expanding military alliances citing human rights violations and democracy in faraway countries . War is more exciting than peace so the priority would be for expensive military equipment and logistics, and not for the poor and homeless in their countries left to their sorry lot and freezing to death.
Economic warfare is no different from armed conflict. Asians in particular, see no difference whatsoever between taking away a man's ability to earn a living and shooting him in the head. The essentials are that every developed world population is imploding. Predictably, as their economies increase, all the money floats to the top and they start heavily censoring half of reality. Today, China, Russia, and the US are all facing imploding populations, and watching each other closely to see when their population collapses altogether. With all the illegal and legal immigrants, the US will slowly turn darker in color as Elon Musk blames his customers for not making more babies.
I don't see evidence that if Russia is compelled to end the war in Ukraine, that it would necessarily lead to Russia becoming an enemy of China. If anything Russia has become extremely dependent on China.
The only thing that can resolve the situation is if someone invents a new economy, or China becomes the first world government, after blowing everything up,
War is also more profitable than peace if you're in the right business, no matter who you support or who wins...the war machine books billions. You forgot to mention what China has done to Tibet. Yes, China wins so long as they don't have to fight. They can just sell weapons and tech to all sides, and buy resources like oil dirt cheap! Keep the war going, tie up military and economic resources of other countries while you build the most powerful and modern military the world has ever seen.
It was the development of quantum mechanics that led to WWII, with physicists playing around with the math for the first time for about fifteen years, before all hell broke loose. Germany had all the scientists, and China is building up their sciences and technology, counting on AI to accelerate their progress. What's happened, is we've accumulated a century of scientific data, roughly the size of the island of Hawaii, and everyone has been counting on AI to sort through all that data, and reinvent reality as we know it, because the geeks have failed to produce a theory of everything. Already, any supercomputer today worth the name, is powerful enough to crunch the numbers for a theory of everything, and the reason we don't have one, is because people are too stupid, and the AI are showing them the error of their ways. Academia has focused on whatever the banks will support, but reality doesn't favor the banks, or agree with academia. The whole house of cards is coming down, and the question is how hard this one's going to hurt.
If Russia becomes an another submissive vassal state of the west through coercion, it can be used as a front against China due to the long boundary it has with it or create anti-china policies such as denial of oil, gas and rare minerals and important technologies. This perhaps may have been part of the intentions behind the encirclement of Russia through Nato expansion, ignoring verbal promises made to Gorbachev and Yeltsin. During the times of Yeltsin three decades back, when there was a certain transfer of space related technology of cryogenic engines to India , the US blocked it arm-twisting Yeltsin to deny the same. The interesting fact was that the US had offered the same technology at a higher price, and when India declined the same and went for the cheaper Russian one, the US went to block it citing that it can be used to create wmd even though the US itself has wmd. Also cryogenic engine technology cannot be used for military purposes as per experts. India is the largest democracy in the world and the US had perceived it as a political rival then in the geopolitical sphere due to India's leadership in the non-aligned movement and the global south. India developed the cryonic technology on its own and has become a major space power at present . However the russians felt humiliated by this event and this is one of the reasons why they are sensitive to any form of coercion .
See, wealth inequality is a major issue in the US, with the microsopic minority of upper classes holding most of the wealth. Federal Reserve data indicates that as of Q4 2021, the top 1% of households in the United States held 30.9% of the country's wealth, while the bottom 50% held just 2.6%. So this is a reason why homelesness and deaths due to hypothermia range in the thousands as per statistics in the US, which is ironically the richest country in the world. The perception is that if you belong to the upper classes you are considered as a winner, and a loser if you belong to the middle and lower classes. Even the Chinese and Russians have provisions for free or subsidized housing, medical care and educational expenses for the common man. The russians have pensions for widows, elderly and handicapped. Such provisions are denied to the American middle and lower classes, which ironically form the majority in so-called democratic America. I am stating this because democracy is considered to value and empower the masses or majority, and it is actually a plutocracy which empowers the rich and wealthy at the expense of the masses. I have seen many internet videos of homeless white Americans living in cars, trailers or tents having lost their houses due to forest fires, weather disasters, inability to pay mortgages due to rising inflation, expenses and living costs and so on. There is no government support for such , even though foreign governments elsewhere support their poor population much better and have a better standard of living than the American poor. I have seen videos of Americans who have travelled to other countries and felt that the middle and lower classes were treated much better there than in the US. Jimmy Carter was one of those very rare American presidents who emerged from the working classes and consequently was able to formulate policies to some extent in his single tenure to help the lower classes. After his presidency was over, he was involved in philanthropic causes and building houses for the homeless in the US. Imo, since it is quite hard for the poor politicians and leaders emerging from the lower classes to hold expensive campaigns during elections, the rich ones easily end up winners and then craft policies that further empower the rich minority and ignoring the poor majority.
