Anyone who watched PBS back in the 70's and 80's will remember some great shows that were more progressive and inclusive than anything today. It's just that the center has moved and the terminology doesn't mean what it used to.

How many remember watching the Flintstones when it was normal to "Have a Gay Old Time." and no one's parents were triggered because the cartoon was trying to indoctrinate their child.

DNA can’t predict how someone will vote in a specific election. There is NO Gene to determine Political Beliefs.

 

You have it backwards, genes make us either more or less assertive. Shyness, for example, was the first personality trait proven to be genetic. In other words, our genes ,make us more or less political, and determine who is conservative or liberal. Without genes, ya got nothing.

In this case, the research shows that people have no choice but to rely on their genes, because there are no real politics happening, they're already censoring half of reality, and whoever advertises the most is almost certain to win.

These days, if you wanna become president, you must have billionaires supporting you.

 

Just wondering how much of Public Broadcasting's budget was covered by Government largesse? Did they really need to close down ?

The Corporation For Public Broadcasting is a nonprofit corporation, and with their federal funding cut, they have no choice but to close their doors, and PBS has no choice but to reorganize as a for profit venture.

Its bizarre, because Disney is the only corporation that could begin to fill their shoes, and they're being attacked as well. Donald Duck would steal candy from every baby alive, all at the same time.
