My questions were rhetorical. It’s obvious to anyone with a bit of knowledge of the history of the 20th century and what went on in Palestine. Those people are desperate and have been since the newcomers began burning and bombing their villages almost a hundred years ago. They are being ethnically cleansed. Yahweh promised Canaan to the Israelites and they damn well mean to take it.

Only westerners suffer any notions of human decency. But all of our politicians are under the control (in one way or another) of those who may not be criticized. So we will let them commit these atrocities because we dare not offend our overlords and then we will take in the fraction of the Palestinians that survive because only we feel guilt.

I would love to be wrong in my prediction. But consistent patterns of behavior don’t change.

Financiers and industrialists brought the US into the war so they could make their loot from all of the death and destruction. And just oh-so-coincidentally, the whole episode was capped off with the creation of a Zionist nation. Democracy and freedom, my ass!

 

Defending itself? From what? From who? Who poses a threat to Israel? Who is suicidal enough to take them on? The US government lives in fear and subservience to Israel. We ruin our own lives and economy to fight whoever Israel instructs us to.

 

Despite its name, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation doesn’t, in any way, help Palestinians in Gaza. In fact, it was designed to carry out the Israeli military’s policies of forced starvation, displacement, and genocide of Palestinians.
In February 2025, the Israeli and US governments launched the GHF, circumventing the UN, UNRWA, and the pre-existing civilian aid model, in order to take complete control over the distribution of aid across Gaza.
Under this US-Israeli aid scheme, starving Palestinians are forced to travel hours on foot to four ration sites that open for 10 minutes at a time, with only 17 minutes advance notice and no fixed schedule. These aid sites have become sites of massacre, and so far the Israeli army has killed more than 1,000 Palestinians at US-operated and mercenary-run “aid distribution” centers.
Each incident follows a familiar pattern: starving Palestinians wait for hours in the baking heat, often are herded into caged enclosures, and then are suddenly shot at with no warning. These so-called aid distribution sites have become death traps.
The Israeli government is using starvation as a tool of genocide, and deliberately manufacturing conditions meant to bring about the destruction of the Palestinian people. Over 120 Palestinians have now died of starvation, with thousands on the brink of death. Despite the attempts to mask genocidal intent behind the GHF’s aid distribution strategy, we know exactly what’s happening.
The GHF’s deadly aid distribution plan only serves to further Israeli genocide by concentrating Palestinians in the south, continuing the ethnic cleansing of North Gaza and perpetuating the forced starvation through minimal aid distribution and massacres at aid sites.
Safety for all – those living under threat of missiles, those being starved and displaced, those facing bullets at aid sites – will only come once the US stops writing a blank check for the Israeli military.
