Before going to sleep, do a full body 'cat' stretch. Go to sleep. Watch the centre of your eyes. You should soon perceive sparks of lights. Each spark of light is a thought. Fly between the lights which grow into planets. Their gravity is trying to pull you down. Each planet will have a picture. Each picture is a dream. You should now feel your body "shift down" as if it were a car. As you continue flying more and more your body should shift once again. You feel the pull of a planet and you see a picture of what the dream will be about. Choose a good one and enjoy the ride...

Just as you recognise that you are awaking, do not open your eyes right away. Keep very still and work your dream backwards, keeping a mental note of the symbology. Just try to remember the symbols.

Slowly move your body by trying to sense where the heat is still on the bed. As you move your body very slightly, and very slowly, as your body re-connects with where it generated the heat, you should be able to remember more and more dream symbols, more and more dreams should be able to be remembered.

If you usually toss in your sleep, roll over very slowly, paying attention to if you can sense where the heat still is. Just very slowly put your body back into the positions it was in when you dreamed.

Work them all backwards, do not turn on a light, pick up your pad and pen, write the symbols down. Move your left finger down as you write with your right hand.

Put the pad down. Stretch your body whilst in bed. Then open your eyes. Turn on a light. Now fill in the blanks of the dreams.

After awhile you should be able to write your dreams down whilst dreaming. Just very slowly reach over and grab the pad and pen while making sure that you do not interrupt the dream. Write a line across underneath your finger and keep moving the finger down a finger's width down at a time.

The hard part is turning the pages. :D

    Many, many years.

I really enjoy just watching my eyeballs seeing the sparks of light, the planets with dreams in them, etc. It's a method I stumbled upon after reading Osho's books (specifically Volume I of "The Book Of Secrets" (Vigyana Bhairava Tantra), chapters 5 & 6).

The weird sensations occur as if a car is down shifting as your consciousness shifts into the dream state. Then the trick is not not fall asleep. After a long while I can see myself dreaming and thinking. It's a weird feeling being concious of one's subconscious. Now I see music playing in my head and hear music as I wake up and after I wake up. Each morning there is a different song playing in my head.

I'll post some excerpts from Oshos' books later on.
