Well, this morning I went out and refilled the bird feeder. It's a triple layered one. But it felt great to be out in the early morning sun. Last weekend was sweeping around the parameter of the backyard (on the concrete walkway that skirts the backyard). Felt good to get some movement and all the muslces working while totally nude.
Went on another nighttime bike ride last night - it was about 17C (about 63F) at 2am when I went. I went to the bad part of town, which is a pretty good bike ride away from my home. Ran into a bunch of addicted people doing the fentanyl fold, which I hadn't seen in person before. Also, they were street-cleaning the alleys so things were a bit cleaner which was nice. But there were a ton of police cars around. I was shocked - I had multiple loops and circuits picked out including a really fun long one (north down a long alley through multiple blocks, and then back south down a quiet road), I rode around the whole neighbourhood scouting things out before getting naked, and then every time I actually got naked I'd run into a police car. The first time was doing a smaller circuit path, just around a building through a back alley. I went to the back alley, took the last of my clothes off, was completely naked, and then rode down the alley and out onto the road. And parked right there was a police cruiser, with its headlights on and pointed straight at me! There was absolutely NO WAY they didn't seem me there butt naked on my bike. I turned back into the alley thinking that they'd give chase, but they didn't - the cruiser didn't move an inch. I guess they had better things to do? So, failing my small, "safe" circuit (who knows how long the police would be there), I thought I'd go ahead with the longer and more daring multi-block circuit. When I rode the alley-part of the circuit initially, I heard some angry yelling in a building on the alley at the very beginning of the circuit. I didn't think much of it, and continued scouting the loop. I finished, satisfied that the only people I'd run into would be the occasional homeless person. One long loop down a back alley for five blocks, out the alley, and then down the parallel street for five blocks back to the beginning. I got to the start of the loop at the beginning of the alley. I shed my clothes and got on my bike, fully naked to the world. I rode down the alley and it was perfect - everything was chill and I was riding around naked on my bike! Then at the end of the first block I came out of the alley onto the street (to get to the next block) and there were 4 police cruisers parked there, all of them pointed at me! I went into the next alley, hid behind a dumpster, and put my clothes back on, thinking that I was going to get chased. But again, no interest on the part of the police, thank goodness. I guess they were responding to the incident with the yelling? Originally I chose this bad area of town to go on these naked bike rides mostly because I reasoned that the police probably wouldn't arrest a streaker/nudist in that area given how squalid everyone is. I'm not really 100% sure of that, and the stakes are pretty high (I don't want to get arrested naked) so it's important to be cautious. Eventually I took my clothes off again on a quiet road. I went a ways and then a really drunk/high homeless person saw me and called me a "freak" for being naked, which was kinda the highlight of the evening I guess. I put my clothing back on before heading home. All in all, it was a great bike ride out, but I didn't get to be naked nearly as much as I wanted to. Ideally I'd know whether the police would arrest me for this and if they wouldn't, I'd be a lot more confident riding around; and if they would then I could find something else to do. It was so liberating asking a cop this in Seattle and then knowing that I wasn't going to get arrested for my nudism. Oh well.
Myself, my wife and a friend of hers walked naked along an isolated beach at Lake Michigan. Our first naked walk of the summer.
