That's a rather sophisticated martini. Don't know anyone around here who drinks that. Beer and wine both made locally.
I like tequila and margaritas too, especially on a red hot Mexican day. Otherwise Bohemian (what else?) Oscuro beer.
WATER! I drink it all day, every day. Sometimes black tea, iced or hot (Typhoo). I have started having mango lassis lately. Yummmm. I can't believe how much sugary sodas humans drink. And no sugar soda is probably worse, just ask RFK jr.
Islay whisky (Laphroig or Lagavulin). Generally out of my price range. Guinness, or preferably a local craft stout or porter. Once in a while, Irish Cream. A real Margarita; not one of those horrid neon green chemical abominations completely devoid of agave or lime juice (I feel the same way about key lime pie). Most boat drinks with a 'rita or colada suffix. Most anything made with mangoes. Currently on a Painkiller kick. We don't salt driveways. We salt margaritas.
The last soft drink I had was at work in 2008. One day I decided that all 'soft' drinks were equivalent to sugar water (at best) and industrial sludge and radioactive waste (at worst).
1 part tequila 1 part triple sec 1 3/4 parts Tres Agaves margarita mix (100% organic lime juice & agave nectar) 1/4 part Nellie & Joe's key lime juice Shaken over ice; no salt for me, thanks. Repeat PRN
I can't remember the last time I had a soda. 30 years maybe? There might have been a ginger beer here or there, but I'm not sure that counts.
I don't drink much alcohol nowadays, but when I do, I always go for a red wine. Occasionally a Margarita. Normally, I drink latte with non-dairy milk and tea (green tea and oolong mostly).
