No idea I've never been there. I would pick up a Lonely Planet travel guide. I'm going to Cancun next month for the for the first time. And apparently there is a rainbow gathering near Vera Cruz.
puerto vallarta is gorgeous, try to go to the historical places andi believe there are many hippie gatherings in there u'll love it
pt vallarta ye its a realy nice beach ,also its near to a good surf places like sayulita it happens there a surf fest ebery year in easter week from the 18 of march to the 24 also pt vallarta has alot of tradition and art like the huichol etnic hand craft i love it it im going to vallarta in a few weeks!
