what do you guys think about spitting?

so, i have never had this problem before, but recently i have developed allergies and a lot of times i find myself with snot in my mouth.. i know i shouldn't, but i feel a little strange about spitting it out in public... like when i am walking on the street. is this normal? does anyone else, especially girls, ever get the urge?

 

meh, I dont care for it but Im not going to tell someone what to do.. as long as its not freakin snot rockets
But you should carry a hanky or a cup and spit it in there...

I can only speak for me but I hate to see people spit in public. I know there is an urge sometimes and I've been guilty of spitting a nail or 2. (I waited until no one was around and just spit lightly with no white spit just the nail like a th-a.) It's really groos to spit in public. (That and blowing your nose.) I don't spit it public as a rule. I've never hock spat and except for the 2 nails I don't spit at all in puplic. It looks really nasty and it probally spreads germs.

 

I dont care for spitting in public... Its gross... I have wicked allergies and i always have the urge to spit... but i dont unless absolutly nessicary and only when there is no one around..

 

spitting aint that bad, but i got this friend who does it every five seconds. he comes close to me often, so i bitch smack him. its some kind of obsessive habit

 

I have major allergies and have a lot of mucus come up in my throat too. If i'm in public I just spit it in a napkin if no one is looking or I just swallow as bad as it tastes.

 

Spitting is so nasty.

 

i don't mind it at all. just be considerate about it. it's natural, and it's fairly harmless these days.

 

I don't get bent out of shape at all about it. If I feel the need to spit, I'm doing it wherever I want without worrying who's looking. Don't like what you see? Turn your fucking head the other way. As long as I'm not spitting on you, your opinion is worthless.

 

I think it's gross.

 

I can't stand it. There's a thing going on over here with posters and things threatening spitters with a fine - the tagline is something like 'even if you're not there, your DNA is and we'll find you!'

I'm not into spitting or watching people spit. Especially people who have to hauck it up and make that loud nasty sound.

If you have to get rid of phlem, which you should because it just makes the allergies worse, maybe spitting into a tissue or a napkin and throwing it away might not be a bad idea. I'd also keep a small container of hand sanitizer with you.

 

i smoke alot so coughing up unidentified substances is a big part of my daily routine and i love it when my nose is blocked and i blow it all out for instant relief ,i do it when im by myself or my mates

 

using a tissue or napkin every time you have to spit is an awful lot of paper products used to coddle someone's sensibilities.

 

i spit all the time. i could care less about others opinions on it. i spit into the gutter or snow banks or another place were people don't walk. when inside, i'll spit into cups or something.
